Aldi must be Heaven.

There are so many reasons to shop at Aldi. I mean really. Once you get past the cardboard smell and the early 80's color scheme, Aldi is really quite heavenly, especially on your pocket.

The employees at Aldi are always very friendly and get me checked out quickly. In fact I would say they are perfect.

Yes, perfect.

Afterall, Jesus works at Aldi.

I'm assuming Aldi is a grocery store?

That's so cool Jesus checked you out. I mean, was your cashier.

I knew times were tough but man...tough enough for Jesus to be working at Aldi?

LOL! Rhea's comment has me singing. Damn you, Rhea! I thought I'd gotten it out of my head. Well, at least I can give you all the earworm, too:

Aldi really is a great place to shop. I just wish there was one closer than 45 minutes away.

I am SO jealous. I've heard you and your sister talk about Aldi, which we don't have in Colorado. I just went to their web site and read all about them, after seeing how low your grocery bill was. I am VERY impressed and really wish we had one out here! :(

It looks like your experience was divine.

With Jesus working there you can't go wrong.

How funny! Yes, I love Aldi, too. We also have a new store, called "Bottom Dollar" that's good too. They are a subsidiary of Food Lion, and they sell name brand products for much less. Same pack your own, low overhead concept. Better produce section than Aldi, though. And I don't think Jesus works there (as a cashier, that is).

HAH! Your post cracked me up, as I made my biweekly Aldi trip this week. I'm so excited because they just opened a brand new store that is seriously FIVE MINUTES from my house! :) Of course, we don't have Jesus at our Aldi...

I knew Jesus saved, but I didn't realize that counted for money too!
My mother-in-law has an unhealthy love of Aldi's and it's rubbed off on me.

Will you be offended if I note that he died for our savings?

I think it's just you, April. Whenever I go there the cashier is named "Dakota."

We get telephone calls from Jesus. Our telephone talks, it tells us people's names when they call. Sometimes it abbreviates, doesn't get the pronounciation correct, etc. When people call from our church buidling, it cuts off everything but "Jesus Christ". So, we are sitting at home, minding our own business when the phone rings. "Jesus Christ calling." It does make you sit up a little shocked sometimes. I particularly love it when the kids are misbehaving and we get a call like this......

We are getting an Aldi's in a neighboring town in March. I can't wait. My parents have one in their town and they love it.

They got strawberries last week for .99 cents and at Christmas they got fresh pineapples for .99cents.

Hello! I just found you, via Simmer Down. Just wanted to add: Aldi is the best place ever for artichokes. And the bi-color string cheese. And lot of other things... Oh, and I noticed your little sidebar about Financial Peace...is this a'la Dave Ramsey? We went through the program about 4 years ago and we are changed people!

Love your blog and will definitely be back!

so, no 10% tax on food in Kansas, I see.

Tennessee could take a lesson from that.

Oh, and what is a Prince Ed Medley?
