Appetite Supressant

If you fixed the world's greatest bowl of ham and bean soup and crumbled in some homemade cornbread and then got ready to eat the first bite with your mouth already watering, but suddenly saw something moving in the heap of beans and bits of cornbread that was piled on your spoon and upon closer investigation realized it was a tick struggling against the thick glop, well, what would you do?

Would you look at it closer to make sure that indeed it was a tick? Would you stand there with the spoon hovering over the bowl and wonder if the tick came off of you and therefore it would be okay to eat the soup even though you are now stricken with hyper tick awareness? Would you have a Survivor moment and wonder how many bugs have you eaten already?

or...

Would you throw the whole bowl into the chicken bucket, tick and all and moments later have a massive intestinal battle in your bathroom?

Tough question...need more info...
1. Am I starving, as in all I've eaten all day was candy and gummy bears? Yeah, I'd toss the tick...as I'm sure it came off me and therefore the food was okay.

2. Have I had a clean freak on that day? Cleaning everything in sight? Toss it down the drain.

3. Survivor moment? Love the show but I'm a wimp, wouldn't get off the boat to save my life.

Wow, reading that makes me realize that my personalities would all have a large argument over whether to eat the dang soup!

So what did you do?

Must be tick season - I just picked one off of Jack's little hide. Then I ate it...

Mmmm. Ham and tick soup. Forget the beans, you don't need the extra protein.

I'll never forget how delighted my (extreemly picky, now) child was when he discovered "BUGS!" on his peanut butter cereal. (They were weevils?) He really was thrilled and would have eaten the cereal had I not stopped him. Man, he's changed.
