My name is April, I'm married to Clay, a very tall, very funny architect. He's the city boy and I'm the country girl but together we are turning into homesteading weirdos. We have four kids that we are trying our darndest to raise loving God and His creation. To know us is to laugh with us, we laugh a lot. Especially at each other.
I love your videos, April. You guys crack me up! What's even better is that my kids come up behind me to watch and are embarrassed for your kids. They say things like, "Oh. My. Gawd. Mom, you'd better *never* do that in my presence" and "If I were their kids..." and then cap it off with groans and shrieks of horror. And that makes me laugh all the harder. I love that there are other parents who make a hobby out of being goofy and embarrassing their kids. It makes me feel hopeful about the general state of the world.
That was the most hilarious, fabulous, awesomest video ever. You and Clay totally rock. I was smiling, laughing and LOVING it. You guys are so hilarious...and so much fun.
I have never been in this sight, but HOLY MACKAREL! that was so great! That was my favorite dance on the show the whole season.. now I got to get my Mr Mcp do do that too! thanks, that was great. Catherine McP
This was awesome. You are very brave to even try that. I have to admit that Mambo was my very favorite dance of the season. I TVOed it and have watched it many times. I always have a favorite each season. I can't wait to see the perfected version.
Oh, I found you at Quiet Life's blog. Don't you love her blog? Also, we have four kids too!! Three boys, one girl. Ages 9,8,7,4. The girl is last.

How does Ellen manage to video all that without dying of extreme embarrassment?
Yeah! Do it April and Clay!
Next time make the lighting a little better so we can see all that fancy footwork you're exhibiting there.
