I like that idea!

I like the idea of..

Camping, but I don't want to sleep in a tent or be away from air conditioning, running water and a kitchen.

Baseball, but I don't want to sit through an entire game or pretend that I'm interested in the game at all. This goes for basketball, soccer and any other game involving a sphere.

Exercising, but I don't want to get hot, sweaty or feel any pain.

Rising with the sun, but I really want to sleep in and enjoy the peaceful serenity of those couple of hours after Clay leaves for work that the bed is mine allllll mine.

Family vacation, but I don't want to go anywhere that causes me to be trapped in the car for more than four or five hours so that beach vacation would be a bit like using a hole punch to pierce my eyelids and cleanse the wounds with vinegar.

So what big idea do you like, but not really?

I like the idea of hanging my clothes out on the clothesline like some beautiful painting with the wind blowing through my hair and the dog frolicking with my children ... I in my apron and pinning our lovely white clothes to dry in the fresh air and sunshine.

But I don't want to haul a mound of clean, wet laundry outside and take the time (and effort) it takes to actually hang them, then take them down before they get rained on or pooped on by birds.

Oh ... I could go on and on ... there are so many things that I like the idea of ... but the clothesline thing jumps out at me right now :-)

Blessings!!

Heather,
I like that idea too. But then I would end up leaving the laundry out there til it faded and became brittle in the sun. I'd also have to fix a clothes line and that would just take too much energy.
