Coach

The pawns are the players and the almond is the ball.

The coach excitedly studying his plays for the team.....that doesn't start until November.

He's got big hopes and even bigger plans. I hope the 10 year-old boys are as easy to coach as the chess pieces.

Hi April,
I'm blog a-browsin' this moisty gray Sunday, and I'm enjoying your style and blog!
I homeschool my son; I think I should be preparing for tomorrow (as I think about it)instead of blog-abrowsin'. Oh the guilt!.
Take care,
Teri

Basketball of course...what other sport would use an almond to run the offense?

You know, I can't believe that I didn't get this, with the 5 players per team. Because, you know, people keep telling me to have one more son so that I can have my own basketball team. Duh. I think I need another cup of coffee.
