Yeah, but I'm not the only sissy in the house!

He can make fun of me all he wants and act all macho, but not five minutes after I took this video he was doing little ballroom pirouettes on the living room rug and saying, "I wanna be on Dancing with the Stars!" So who's the sissy now? Huh!

hmmm...this explains a lot. Wasn't there a little incident in the chicken coop? Maybe they just SAID they didn't hear you. Maybe they figured you just stepped on a bug or something...

Lori! Who's side are you on! Man, it's so hard to get anyone to run to my rescue these days.

I have to agree with Lori, I think the kids are totally ignoring you. Of course having Clay ignore you is just wrong. He has certain responsibilities, it's in the marriage clause, section 7 states he must run to your aid and kill the offender. Or something like that.

Thank you Jean,

You're my new favorite kid, er, I mean friend. And I have told Clay that no matter what I'm freaking out over he's supposed to come running. He's says something about having to run all day and there would be a lot of dead lint balls in the world, blah, blah, blah.

dead lint balls. hehe

You have some cute boys. And Clay...Oh, Clay. He needs to be taken down a notch. :o)

I just want to know which one wanted to be on Dancing With the Stars?

Darn! I wanna be the favorite kid!

Ooooooh, I feel your pain! I too am so ignored.

Why just last night, my ignoring son #1 pushed the dog down on my foot--sharp, knife-like toemails digging into my delicate foot as this thundering massive beast landed. Reaction from the men in my home? "Shhh! The game is on."

Thanks, guys. Really. Thanks.

Could it be that you squeal too often and they are now immune to it? Maybe you should carry around a whistle or a fog horn in a can and blow that next time you are scared.

BTW, what are you doing in the country being a fraidy cat? ;)

We had a bee fly into the van last week and it was all I could do to keep the vehicle on the road. I still don't know how we all survived. Bugs are not my favorite.

My husband hates and is scared to death of spiders, me the same about snakes. So there, we are even.
Would love to see a video of Clay doing his dance thing you mentioned. Remind your kids daily they have to be on your side or else!

I scream, not for bugs but for other stuff, and no one comes. I have to go say, "Didn't you hear me SCREAMING??" They are like, what? Huh? just sad.:)

Doesn't Clay know that his biggest responsibility is to raise those boys up right? Every gentleman knows to rescue his woman from a big, giant, scary bug. (I typed butt at first)

I think you need to let everyone know that I did come running for the first 14,987 screams and freak-outs.

I think the body surfing down the back steps incident was where I finally thought "hmm, maybe running to help may not be the best solution."

Love, love, love the fact that your family wouldn't rescue you from a bug! Your husband cracks me up! It is a good thing they are not afraid of the camera!
