I have a four year old.

I say yes, he says NO!

I say stop and off he goes!

I turn left and he goes right.

I want peace.
He's ready to fight!

Scream.
Laugh.

Giggle.
Cry.

He's four years old.

He's Levi!

At least you're not screaming at him in these pictures. You look very serene. Good job!

First those photos are amazing. They just capture your family so naturally. Much better than just straight look in the camera and smile. I love that Levi is doing the stuff of four year olds. What a doll. That last picture of him just speaks volumes with that cute twinkle in his eyes and his mischievous smile. Adorable.

Four is a magic age isn't it? They are just coming out of being a baby and just starting to be a boy.

You have a really beautiful family. Great pics too.

OMGoodness how cute is that poem?
My four year olds were so much fun and I miss it, but not the misfit behaviour!

Oh, those baby boys. They tug at the heart strings. And four might just be the best age ever.

Oh, he's such a cutie! Lord help me if I have cute kids like that!

Oh, & I was bored at work today, & was looking through some older posts (b/c I'm kind of an April Showers newbie) & I saw the ones with you & Clay doing the elf dance! Can I just say, "LOL!" So, of course I immediately went to the bathroom at work, to see if I could do it, & I can! I can switch no problemo!

I was even just doing it at home & showing my husband! Here's the secret: Once you get going (arms & legs in same direction), after a bit just push your arms TWICE in the same direction. Then, you will have switched & not even know it! Ok, try it out, & let me know how the choreography works out - if you feel like it, of course :)

He's adorable! I noticed how beautiful your daughter is in the pictures. She looks like she's a nice girl, too.

Awesome post....But can I just say that I noticed Levi's older brother (not the oldest, the one born before him) the most. He just reminds me so much of my 3rd born son (we have 4)...Mine gets kind of "left out" at times, so he tends to get lonely. I'm not saying that's the way it is for yours. The pictures just gave me a reminder to pay some extra special attention to my son, who is caught in the middle of the baby and 2 older brothers. I love your blog. :)

He's really a cutie. I bet it's hard to keep a straight face when he looks up and smiles at you like that.

I have a 3 year old that turns into a 4 year old in December and I'm already stocking up on liquor and lots of candy to bribe him with. Joking, I'm joking...kind of. Besides, the liquor is for me. Oh, and Happy Halloween.

What awesome pictures!! You should put like 4 of them all on the same page and send them out in your Christmas cards. I think my favorite is the second one....no, wait the third....no wait.... oh heck, they're all great. BTW, you sure don't have to tell me the adventures of 4 year old Levi's....I have one, too, remember? So I'm right there with you. lol Check out my attempted pumpkin patch pictures on Nov. 2.
