My name is April, I'm married to Clay, a very tall, very funny architect. He's the city boy and I'm the country girl but together we are turning into homesteading weirdos. We have four kids that we are trying our darndest to raise loving God and His creation. To know us is to laugh with us, we laugh a lot. Especially at each other.
For Sale: One unused crib, one unused top bunk, one unused full size bed.
What you can't see is their big sister sleeping on the floor next to the bottom bunk that they are all huddled in. We really only need one twin bed and a two bedroom house.

That really is absolutely precious! And I really like the new furniture, too.
Had to comment on this one. I to find that I have spent to much money on extra beds and rooms when apparently my 4 seem to think only 2 beds work either the 4 of them in my oldest sons twin bed or all 6 of us in our King size bed. Once the 4th came along and started crawling in bed with us also we knew it was time for a king. The queen bed is just to small. Precious photo though isn't it sweet when they sleep and cuddle? To bad if they are anything like mine this is not the picture during their waking hours.
It's nice to know that there are other people out there with unused beds and cribs :-)
We all sleep on 2 king size mattresses that lie on the floor of 1 room. Sometimes I will put my 3 girls to bed, then crawl out to go do things (laundry, dishes, read blogs, etc) and then go back with a flashlight to see their little cute faces asleep, then tuck myself back in with them. My husband will sleep with one or two, or sometimes he will sleep downstairs and one kid will leave the bed to join him.

That is too funny! My kids do the same thing. We wake up with five kids in one bed. Why did we bother making our house a 6 bedroom house?

So cute and sweet.
