My name is April, I'm married to Clay, a very tall, very funny architect. He's the city boy and I'm the country girl but together we are turning into homesteading weirdos. We have four kids that we are trying our darndest to raise loving God and His creation. To know us is to laugh with us, we laugh a lot. Especially at each other.
But almost as bad. I know exactly what you mean. I loathe rainy season here in Middle Tennessee. We were looking in an almanac once and it said that the rainiest spot in the US iis the Pacific Northwest (DUH)
Second rainiest.... Middle Tennessee. UGH! THat is why we have to mow every three days from the beginning of March until the end of October!!
That is what I was thinking it was! Do your kids ever waller in it? I took a picture of my youngest the other day she she was literally covered in mud. Literaly. I think she thinks she's a pig. ;) She cannot seem to resist mud. I am surprised my bathtub drain still works.

I so hate the mud, especially when it smells like wild hogs have been rolling around in it.
Better mud then some of the other things that were mentioned!
I got it right! :)
That's the red-headed stepchild that needs to be locked in the attic. Oops, I mean, mud stinks.
