We finally bought our house this year because we were tired of renting, too, but I honestly never expect to stay in one so long that the kids will come back home to the place they grew up. Here's the sappy thing in my head that must come out--I guess I think home is where the family is. For Clay, it sounds like he had no home in either sense, which is very sad. But I think your kids will be happy to come home to any house as long as you and Clay and all the siblings are there.mjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07916970748395864974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18817460.post-1151091075928568862006-06-23T14:31:00.001-05:002006-06-23T14:31:00.001-05:00New to your blog, really like it. Our oldest is going to be a 9th grader this year! Everything gets shorter and shorter the more you drive it. Plus, you will love it and be that much further from the growing suburbs. I am looking forward to seeing this house, by the way - its gonna be good!Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05816545476882993097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18817460.post-1151080692581508052006-06-23T11:38:00.000-05:002006-06-23T11:38:00.000-05:00Great house, but I know how you feel. Hawaii is very expensive so I don't think we will ever settle here, but someday I want to own my own home for all the reasons you wrote.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06153847712814391815noreply@blogger.com
